About this event

Nature journaling is the focus of CSV's "Art & Science in One" program. Mentors are trained to model and coach this form of drawing and writing in a journal in such a way as to nurture students' interest in science and their ability to observe and record natural phenomena outdoors. Each student will mentored by an individual volunteer one-to-one. Volunteers may choose to mentor more than one student by volunteering in more than one cohort. All sessions with students are in person and outdoors. The required training consists of a 1.5 hour virtual session, and a 1 hour outdoor session.
